Strawberry Rice Krispie Treats are such a fun and tasty twist to a classic recipe we’ve known since childhood. These goey marshmallow treats are the perfect tasty treat that adults and kids alike will love.

While the classic rice krispie treat recipe requires 3 ingredients, we’re adding one very special ingredient – Crunchies Freeze-Dried Strawberries! If you’d like to substitute the strawberries, we suggest tryingΒ Crunchies Freeze-Dried Blueberries.Β That might just have to be our next recipe! This recipe is incredibly easy to make and can be ready to eat in 30 minutes or less!

Ingredients

  • 7 Cups of Rice Krispies CerealΒ 
  • 6 Tbsp of Salted ButterΒ 
  • 16 oz Package of MarshmallowΒ 
  • 1 Package of Crunchies Freeze-Dried StrawberriesΒ 

Instructions

Step 1:
Grease a 9Γ—13 pan and set aside.Β Β 

Step 2:
Add Rice Krispies to a medium sized mixing bowl. Set aside.Β 

Step 3:
Add butter to a saucepan and begin melting on medium high heat.Β Β 

Step 4:
Once butter is melted, slowly add in marshmallow.Β Β 

Step 5:
Melt marshmallow over heat until 75% melted, stirring often.Β Β 

Step 6:
Remove melted mixture from heat and add to Rice Krispies.Β Β 

Step 7:
Add Crunchies Freeze-Dried Strawberries.Β Β 

Step 8:
Stir until well combined and coated.Β Β 

Step 9:
Add to 9Γ—13 pan and gently press into an even layer.Β Β 

Step 10:
Allow to cool for 30 minutes before serving.Β Β
